Mas La Donzelenche is a small agricultural settlement in the Cevennes where periods of brisling activity and periods of silence and decay alternated over many centuries. Since then, the Mas has been lovingly brought back to life and tastefully restored while retaining its authenticity.
The guest area consists of three authentic Cevenol gîtes (holiday homes), a gîte d'étape (inn), several chambres d'hôte (guest rooms) and a small eco-camping.
Enjoy the comfort of a fully serviced chambre d'hôte with beds made, towels laid out and a nice fresh breakfast served for you.
The gîtes (for two, four, and eight persons respectively) are completely self-contained, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
The spacious and tastefully decorated Gîte d'étape offers the hiker, cyclist or other passing summer visitor the possibility of single and affordable overnight stays.

There is also a 'launderette' for guests, where you can use the washing machine.
The private part of the Mas is permanently inhabited by Hans and Eva and their family. They have slowly but surely restored the Mas completely and animate this agro-tourism business and look after the animals (a.o. sheep and chickens), the vegetable, fruit, and flower gardens, where they produce for the table d’hôte. When time permits they enjoy working in their workshops (a.o. felt, wood and iron objects) and are very involved in the social and cultural life of the region
The domain is 15 ha large and is situated in the middle of unspoilt Cévenol nature. In and around the Mas, several idyllic corners have been created where it is lovely to linger. There is plenty of space for peace and privacy, but there are also opportunities to meet.
The unique medieval kitchen of the main house, is the heart of the Mas. Here or outside at the guest table, you can regularly enjoy a tasty table d'hôte.

At night, when outside on the terrace you listen to the calling of the owls or the song of the nightingale, while gazing at the Milky Way 'floating' in a breathtaking starry sky, you can feel a balm of silence descending into your being.
