Mas La Donzelenche is a small agricultural settlement in the Cevennes where periods of brisling activity and periods of silence and decay alternated over many centuries. Since then, the Mas has been lovingly brought back to life and tastefully restored while retaining its authenticity.
The guest area consists of three authentic Cevenol gîtes (holiday homes), a gîte d'étape (inn), several chambres (guest rooms) and a small eco-camping.
The gîtes (for two, four, and eight persons respectively) are completely self-contained, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated.
The spacious and tastefully decorated Gîte d'étape offers the possibility of a groupsstay (for hiker, cyclist etc) for several days with half board or board complete

Our eco-camping on the banks of the creek will stay closed in 2027. So no unforgettable stay under the stars this year unfortunately.
There is a 'launderette' for guests, where you can use the washing machine if you want (against a fee).
The private part of the Mas is permanently inhabited by Hans and Eva and their family. They have slowly but surely restored the Mas completely and animate this agro-tourism business, look after the animals (sheep, chickens etc), the vegetable, fruit, and flower gardens, where they produce for the table d’hôte.
The domain is about 15 ha in size and is situated in the middle of unspoilt Cévenol nature.
In and around the Mas, several idyllic areas have been created where it is lovely to linger. There is plenty of space for peace and privacy, but there are also opportunities to meet.
The unique medieval kitchen of the main house, is the heart of the Mas. Here or outside at the guest table in the courtyard, you can enjoy tasty meals at the table d’hôte (on reservation beforehand).

When, on a morning stroll, you see the mists creeping out of the 'creases' of the mountains, you smell the thyme and oregano under your feet and see the squirrels and badgers running around while the forest is given acoustic depth by the tapping of the woodpecker, you can soak up the refreshing morning energy deep into your fibres...
At night, when outside on the terrace you listen to the calling of the owls or the song of the nightingale, while gazing at the Milky Way 'floating' in a breathtaking starry sky, you can feel a balm of silence descending into your being.
